WHY? - To foster an interest in beekeeping
HOW? - A drawing will be held
*WHAT are the details?
· Must attend the March meeting AND BE A STEWART OR HOUSTON COUNTY RESIDENT AND HAVE PROOF to be eligible
· Must be new to beekeeping
· Must sign an agreement to the stipulations of receiving the hive
· 50% of honey for 2 years comes back to the association
· Must report to mentor 1 time per month for two years and the mentor must be a Tennessee Beekeeping Association -can report at regular meetings
· Must work at least 1 special event for the association during the two year period
· Be prepared to pay THE FOLLOWING DUES at sign-up:
2 years advanced dues to TENNESSEE beekeeping association ($18) and 2 years advance dues to Houston-Stewart ($10)
· MUST BE PREPARED TO BUY YOUR BEES IN SPRING 2011
